Ra-one

Ra-one is an Anubhav Sinha directed Hindi film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor. It is about a computer engineer in UK who wants to design a computer game for his son where it is almost impossible to beat the villain (some people have strange tastes). Then, this villain, (RaOne) escapes from the game and kills the father and wants to kill the son. The son then figures that the only way to kill the villain would be to free the hero from the game. Luckily, it works and the hero (G.one) protects the son and his mother until they kill Ra-one in the end. This movie is a lot like Rajinikanth’s Enthiran (Robot is the Hindi version), except that the story is slightly tweaked. For example, there is only one robot with 2 faces in Enthiran, but in Ra-One, there are 2 robots with 1 face each. However, there are lots of similarities between the 2 films as well. For example, both films are in a time where technology is much more higher, in a phase that mankind may never even reach, and that the calamities that occur in both films are not technically impossible. Oh, and that both films were first show hits all over India. I wish Enthiran had come in 3D as well. (Oh, and did you know that this was the first 3D film that Lalit Modi has seen?) Adios
